Just wanted to install Silverlight from Microsoft on Mac OS X 10.4.10 and it claims that it needs at least 10.4.8.

I just discovered that the cd artist/album/track search service freedb.org is not online anymore. at least not in it’s former glory and without an web interface to search the db. but some digging revealed 2 alternatives:
i like the first one better but each his own taste. At some time in the future there will probably be an web interface on freedb.org again but for now i will stick to freedb2.org.
In the first hours of my bachelor report research on social software i stumbled upon (sic) a video about data visualization that shows us how entertaining statistics can be. That (and how) statistics can be used to clarify some of our assumptions of the world; for example the “myth” of developing countries.
